A PhD student in mathematical and theoretical biology. I’m generally interested in complex systems and their applications. My current work is on the impact evolutionary trade-offs and polymorphism have on range expansions.

I’m originally from Glasgow, UK, but am currently living in Liverpool, UK. I’ve studied at: University of Glasgow (briefly), University of Strathclyde, University of Iowa, Heriot-Watt University, and University of Liverpool.

I dabble in sketch artistry, puzzles, chess, and the tin whistle. I’m also an avid swimmer and amateur footballer (soccer). If my science career fails I’ll re-train as a grounds keeper for football pitches — I love the game that much.

Feel free to comment on any of my post, particularly if I am wrong! I will almost always respond.
